Campaign of the Month: January 2011
Honour Among Thieves
A ship can take you far out into the Black, but no matter how fast you fly, your past is going to catch up with you…
Welcome to the campaign page for Honour Among Thieves! This campaign follows the misadventures of the crew of Shenmue, a Firefly-class transport.
This Serenity campaign has been running off and on since March 2006 and uses the Serenity ruleset (an early iteration of the Cortex System) from Margaret Weis Productions.
Honour Among Thieves was Obsidian Portal’s Campaign of the Month in January 2011.
Take a look at our wiki for more info.

Honour Among Thieves Comments
So glad to see you still active! Still check in occasionally to read your amazing adventures….
Cool title :)
Looking forward to the new log coming from the new session in a few days!!
Still such an awesome site!
Ha ha, I’ve pillaged and plundered images from, among other places, Cortex System RPG, so you’d have to ask the good people in the starships forum what they use to create their ships.
HAHA did you use spore to make some of those ships? that is so awesome! great campaign i love it more every time i come by. I loved the movie and the series. hope you’ll have time to check out my campaign! its based off the TV show Avatar: the Last Airbender. Keep up the great work! ^^

I’m really enjoying reading this campaign.
If you like Play-By-Post RPing at all, you should check www.findingserenity.org as we have some solid stories going on their as well.
*ALs. Not sure what I was thinking there…
Couple of questions: Shouldn’t the page on the Mach GoGoGo be updated to reflect that Kingston Davies no longer runs it, and Fanty and Mingo own it at present? Also, why do most of the links from the AVs lead to a “Page not found” error?
Awesome organization and great story telling. Makes a good read!
I love the last line way back in the first session, “I didn’t know we’d be crashin’ today!”. What a classic way to set the tone for a scoundrel adventure campaign like this!
Yeah I’d have to agree with Idless. I followed his Featured Campaign of the Month nomination for your campaign here and have just finished reading the first two sessions of Hull Down. I must say that it has been a very enjoyable read so far. I’m really glad to see a well done Serenity campaign here at the Portal. Keep up the good work.
Cheers,

You guys rock my world!
This is brilliant! The plots are good, the players witty and creative – and the adventure logs are so well written. I read almost all of it now, missing only a few sessions of “9/10s of the law”.
I hardly read any session reports on OP – I loose interest so fast. I hardly read the ones from my own campaign. But these are all like small Firefly sort stories, comparable with the best of fanfiction out there(not just Firefly Fanfic). I am eating it up!
Many GMs have wanted to “novelize” their campaign and most have failed miserably. Your success honours their failures!

Nice Campaign! Nice Adventure log, really really well written and really interesting to read! Like a good Firefly short story, 4 stars and a fan right here – The NPC gallery is amazing too – a little more structure and bling on the wiki, would warrant 5 stars :D
Also, would you mind dear GM, that I totally rip of your Hull Down adventure? It’s brilliant!
