Honour Among Thieves
Longevity Mountain Racetrack
Ah, the sport of kings. Since there aren’t any kings in the ’Verse (Londinium notwithstanding), it falls to the aristocrats of Persephone to keep thoroughbred horse racing a going concern.
Longevity Mountain Racetrack, located amid the towering spires of Persephone City, is the venue for some of the most renowned derby events the ’Verse over, and they have the Cortex ratings to prove it.
The most watched event of all is the Persephone Derby, known as the “Grand Old Dame,” where horses with unmatched pedigrees, backed by some of the deepest pockets in the system, race for a king’s ransom in credits. The Grand Old Dame brings in tourists from across the ’Verse and its Cortex viewership is numbered in the billions.
